LAHORE, 24th December 2021: The Ali Zafar Foundation (AZF) distributed gifts amongst members of the Christian communities in the Seven Cross Church in Karbath Village, and the United Pentecostal Church in Fazlia Colony in the lead up to Christmas Day.
Pakistan’s Christian community is an inherent part of our social fabric, and this activity was meant to serve as a gesture of warmth and positivity during a time of joy. At AZF, we believe in building a culture of inclusion to bolster peace and tolerance, and this was a demonstration of that core belief.
Leading the event with a special prayer and surrounded by the families gathered, Pastor Sajjad Masih of Karbath Church said the community deeply appreciates the spirit of consideration and extended Christmas and New Year’s greetings to singer and actor Ali Zafar, President of AZF Board of Governors. At the United Church, Pastor Riaz Masih offered a special thanksgiving prayer for the community and for continued peace and progress in the country.
With support from its generous friends and donors, AZF was able to distribute just under a million rupees in cash and kind during its drive this month.
